New inspiration

Today we went for a walk at Järavallen with Golda and Ingela.

We have not been training that much obedience for a while. Of course the "every-day training" but not  training with planned disturbances. I feel motivated to start training more exact obediance, since we saw the "masters of obedience" at My Dog in Gothenburg. I was so impressed by a dog and it's master, a Golden retriever and it's owner from Norway.

It is so good to train with Golda. We order the dogs to sit. One 20 meters in front of the other. The dog at the back is given the command to "come", rushes pass the first dog...the first dog must stay.

I know I have an Akita... hihi but I know we can fine-tune the obedience. Stop when running, should be stop...not after 3 steps, and so on. It is so lovely to see how your Akita rewards you. After a such a lovely walk, running free he is always very rewarding me with extra attention, and affection.

I was watching hand-ball. A really good game too! And Manuel was lying in front of med. Every time I shouted, he lifted his head (lying on his side) gazing at me with a very huffed look, as to say: why are you behaving like that? Please remain calm and quite.  Whereas I had to assure him of that it was ok to put the head down again.
