I and Manuel went to my parents' summer house in Skummeslövsstrand, which is situated close to the sea. Both me and Manuel feel free when we are there.

As I was going to a committee meeting for the Swedish Akita society in Falkenberg on the Saturday, I took the opportunity to go to the summerhouse Friday evening. I love being there, and then it made my journey shorter the morning after.

When we arrived Manuel jumped out of the car, bouncing around in the garding, playing with a ball, running like crazy and showed he was just as happy as I was. We went for a long walk on the beach. He wore a harness and a long string since I do not feel 100% when it comes to who is the most exciting, me or the sea-guls.

But he behaved very well. The string also allowes him to paddle around in the water, without me having to be wet. Like our akitafriend Helen wrote on her web-page...it seems that some Akitas are drawn to water. or...more correctly to the waterside.

I think one day, Manuel will catch a fish. Then we headed home via the woods. It was getting dark and I let Manúel loose. He ran like a litte rabbit, up and down the small hills, up and down and stopped when I told him to. Goood boy!

I cooked some nice food, and had a nice glass of red wine and Manuel spent time outside, or on the carpet chewing on treats.
