Me and Manuel on the Swedish National Day!

Mikael left for Skåne this morning, to help his mother with some stuff. Me and Manuel stayed. We took a morning walk - far too late. We came home overheated and exhausted and had to spend some time indoors (stone-house) trying to feel fresh again.

The official date of the Swedish National Day set for today, is just a few years old. This means we do not have any traditions like Norway or any other country regarding this. Of course, TV is showing celebrations with the Royal familily etc, but us natives...we do not celebrate this very much. I would say that the Midsummers-celebration is more of celebrating our country - still.

I spent the day washing, cleaning, fixing, and going for short walks with Manuel. It has been so humid and hot that both me and Manuel have been on a very very slow pace today... Tomorrow we will go home to Malmö again. Mikael told me that the plants on the balcony actually  had survived ! /Charlotte
