The normal procedure

Everytime Manuel is shedding he becomes very very hungry and eats more than full portions everyday. I would say he eats 125% of the daily ration for 2-3 weeks and does not gain weight. This is fascinating. Shedding takes a lot of energy and is tough for the body. I can not come to any other conclusion.

This past winter he had a slightly thinner coat than previous years, but still a nice one. This shedding seems to be in a "good looking way" not as last year (about June) where he looked like a teddy bear under full attack of moths.

I have neglected his teeth the last year, which is bad, since it is now, and not earlier years it gets more important to be in control. Many adult dogs suffer from teeth- and especially gumproblems without us owners noticing.

Bad breath, doesn't every dog have that? NO NO NO NO. Bad breath comes from a badly balanced stomache, throat problems, bad teeth or something else.
